I was at a networking event when I met my mentor. I own a social media and PR company Katie DeVito, LLC and also founded the organization NJ Unemployed. In addition to blogging at www.katiedevito.net. I sit on a number of committees, boards, etc. Never in a million years did I think I would be part of a direct sales company. I met my mentor who was sporting a locket and was showing me the catalog. All the while thinking “I really don’t have time to add another thing to my plate”. Until she turned to the photos of the Greek letters. When I was in college and was in a sorority, Delta Phi Epsilon. I am very involved with Delta Phi Epsilon and sit on their board. I thought “oooooo the girls would love this”. I wore a locket to a university to see what all the girls thought and they LOVED it. That was it! I was sold! I signed up to be a designer right away. In just a few months, I became a Designer, Leading Designer, Team Leader and am currently a Senior Team Leader. I love the story behind Origami Owl and love how we are a Force For Good.
